I was overjoyed when I found this recipe, since it is hard making your own white sauce and sometimes I end up failing. I use instant white sauce powder most of the time, but now that I know this, I'm making this a staple.
Here's what you need:
3ooml milk
3 tbsp flour
20g butter
chicken or consommé powder broth
salt to taste
Mix milk and all together in a bowl. You might want to sift the flour if you prefer.
Melt butter on pan and pour in the milk mixture.
Mix until the mixture thickens.
Ta-dah! We're done! :)
