Let's Have Fun!

Saturday, May 17, 2014

I didn't mention that I now work for a hotel in Alabang. Just this Thrusday, we went for our team building activity with co-employees. It's just new that we had to stay for a day only because I used  to have it overnight in my previous company.

We went to Aquaria Beach Resort in Calatagan, Batangas. We left Alabang at 6am and arrived there at almost 9am. Pretty fast, right? I think the Management there is still developing their land because there's not much of sight aside from the resorts.

The place was white with brown accents from the wood. It was a clean sight for me. The simplicity of the place complemented the scorching weather.

We headed out to the tent at the shore for the short program the HR prepared. Few games were made. I decided not to join any but regretted that I did not join the beer-drinking contest! I think I would make a good contestant of that.

Beers were overflowing during the day. My teammates and I decided to purchase a bottle of hard liquor for fun since some of us (including me) won't go swimming. I just found it hard to stay and mingle with everyone with just a tent to share with. It would be better if we had our own rooms.

At around 3pm, we decided to get cleaned and stay in the bus. We waited for others until it was time for us to leave.

It was all fun (except the heat). And it made me a bit closer to the people I work with everyday.

Happy Easter Sunday

Tuesday, April 22, 2014

Our Easter Sunday Celebration started with me cooking Lasagna.
My first try was a fail, because the white sauce was also a fail that time.
Now thanks to my super easy white sauce recipe, my 2nd try was a success! I just added 2 tablespoons of cream cheese to the original recipe.

I made my meat sauce the night before, so all I did was the white sauce, cook the pasta, and put them all in the dish and bake!

Then we went to hear Mass at the St. Mary's Cathedral in Tamatsukuri. There were a lot people since it is Easter Sunday. I also loved that I knew all the songs that was sang. I remember my high school choir days. :)

This is actually the church that the husband and I went to when we're still dating.
Oh well, those we're the days. LOL. Kidding aside, I really love it here.
Just too bad it is so far from our house now.

The main cathedral will apparently be on construction starting next month for one whole year.

We all went to Namba afterwards, then I finally found a bag that fits my criteria perfectly! (Well almost - I was looking for a medium sized bag that fits a bottled water, lunch if necessary, my wallet and a B5 file that is either in colour yellow, ivory, or bicolour, with a ribbon or tassel, and preferable 2 or 3 way) This is a 2 way bag. It could be a long shoulder bag or a back-pack, it fits what I mostly need and is in colour ivory. Good enough and cheap enough so I bought it right away! Hehee.

Ended the day with a hot bath and chillax with my sweetie pie!

Tourist's Spots

Thursday, April 10, 2014

I am sharing some photos today from our trip, touring around my mother in law and brother in law.

We had a hanami (cherry blossom sight-seeing) in Kyoto.
I was lazy to take a photo and post from my camera so sorry for the low quality photos, but I believe you could still see the beauty even though.

We also went to see the tallest building here in Japan, Abeno Harukas which stands 300 meters with 62 floors.

The Tokyo Sky Tree by the way is the tallest tower in the world, and the 2nd tallest structure in the world. I'm just posting this photo so people won't get confused. The husband took this photo from his Tokyo trip last month

I forgot to bring my phone when I went here at the Sky View Deck in Kansai Airport so I just got this photo from the friend who took us here.

Yup, all these views was more amazing in real life.

I'm BDJ's Power Bella

Saturday, April 5, 2014

The planner craze? Hell yeah! On 2012, the brand held a fair at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall. When I saw this photo on my Facebook newsfeed, I immediately tried out by sending a photo and luckily, I got in.

The BDJ Fair 2012 was a one-day fair where one gets the chance to hear talks about beauty and fashion from notable speakers like Divine Lee (Yes! The Divine Lee!). They also got booths where girls (and even boys) can get freebies and sign up for discounts. Despite the heat in the venue, we managed to enjoy the day. My newly-found model girlfriends made it memorable too!

There were all smiles and pose from them. It was my first, and for some too! We get to be dressed by SM Ladies Fashion and personally styled by Sydney Yap.

The fashion show proper went for about ten minutes and although the lights made me sweat, I tried to look fine (and pretty as they say).

Aside from the modeling experience, I felt grateful to have people who will support me all the way. My sister, boyfriend and friends did their best to support me in this small show.

Lesson learned? A power bella resides in our heart. Let's all be one everyday, when we can!
